Jenness Beach 11/27/11

It was a beautiful day at the beach today, didn't feel like it's almost December.  Starting to work on xmas presents (trying to use my stash as much a possible).  I made my niece a Grinch pillow case and working on a seashore wall hanging for my sister.  Hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving holiday..... the xmas rush is officially on!

Footprints Quilt Shoppe

Finally finished this quilt.  I'm teaching a class on this stack and cut technique on Jan 28th at the Footprints Quilt Shoppe.  My friend Kelly and her sister LeeAnn just opened the shop in Sept 2011.  It's a great spot and I wish them all the luck!  Check out their blog at http://footprintsquilting.blogspot.com/.

Kelly did another beautiful job machine quilting and I think the backing fabric I selected looks great.  That came from a discount corner.  About 2 years ago I bought about 6 yards of it.... I knew I would find a use for it somewhere.

Brian's Flannel Quilt

I have 3 boys and it's nice when they take an interest in my quilts. This is Brian's (holding on left) quilt that I made him for xmas.

Moose on the Porch - Quilt Alongs

This is a fun quilt along site.  I've made 2 "Moose" quilts so far and just started on the 3rd one.  I love to view the posted blocks and enjoy seeing how the same block can look so different depending on the selected fabrics.

Look for nirak59 pics - those are mine....

Every Day Math

My son and I worked on a "math in ever day life" project.  He and I designed and made this quilt.  It was a  fun project for us to work on together.

New Blog

Welcome to the blog of Lawnsdale Quilting! I've been quilting for over 25 years and just starting to spread my wings into teaching and designing.
